Paul H. Chiu, M.D.

Dr. Paul Chiu is the director and owner of Vanguard Interventional Pain Specialists in Alhambra, California. He is a board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain management, specialized in chronic pain management. Dr. Chiu serves as a staff pain physician for San Gabriel Valley Medical Hospital.
Upon graduating from the University of Houston, Dr. Chiu attended the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Plymouth, Montserrat, where he obtained his medical degree. He later completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of Southern California, and pain management fellowship at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. A member of the American Pain Society, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), NANS (North America Neurostimulation Society) and the North American Spine Society, Dr. Chiu also provides education to healthcare providers regarding interventional pain management and implantable devices for pain.
