Eric Chung grew up in South Pasadena, California and attended UC Riverside where he received his Bachelors degree in Biology in 2007. While at Riverside he worked full-time as a Biller and Office Manager at a private dental office and remained involved in the medical field volunteering at Riverside Community Hospital. His passion for medicine pushed him to become an Emergency Medical Technician at Riverside Community College and he worked for the next three years for a private ambulance company as well as Childrens Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). He then attended the Riverside County Regional Medical Center (RCRMC)/ Moreno Valley College (MVC) – PA Program where he received his Physician Assistant certificate in 2014. He also went on to finish his Master’s Degree in Medical Science at St. Francis University. Since then he has worked in Physical Medicine and Rehab and Interventional Pain Management and specializes in injection therapy, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to treat various musculoskeletal conditions with a holistic approach as well using pharmacologic agents to improve patients overall pain and function.  He has now joined our practice in 2016 and has been an integral role for our team. He is well-versed and trained to perform medical evaluations, physical examinations, perform various injections (trigger point injections, joint injections) and review diagnostic testing reports. On his free time he enjoys traveling, scuba diving, mountain biking, exercising and spending time with his family and friends.
